Rachel Corbett is the author of You Must Change Your Life: The Story of Rainer Maria Rilke and Auguste Rodin (W.W. Norton), which won the 2016 Marfield Prize, the National Award for Arts Writing. It has been translated into German, Czech, Turkish, Korean, Serbian, Taiwanese and Russian. She has written for the New Yorker, the New York Times MagazineThe Atlantic, and New York Magazine, among other publications. She graduated from the University of Iowa and Columbia University. She lives in Brooklyn.
